Established in 2022, Ottawa punks Passenger Princess are leaving a mark on the local Ottawa scene. Composed of Grace (Vocals), Kaidan (Guitar), Vic (Bass/Backing vocals), and Corey (Drums), the group began by making music that was fast, raw, and immature in lyrical theme. Songs about bad sex, bad municipal systems, and the general angst of young adulthood in the modern age were major themes. The release of their single OC Transpo Sucks (2023) solidified their status as Ottawa's #1 anti-bus punk rock and kept them at the top of many local minds (if you're from Ottawa, you just get it). The P.P. EP. (2024) continued their momentum as a fast-moving and high energy force within the Ottawa indie punk scene, as well as garnering an 8/10 score in Louder's Classic Rock Magazine. With the release of their sophomore EP This Is Our Free Bird (2025), they're keeping the energy high while diversifying the scope of their songwriting.

Notable performances include opening for powerhouse bands such as NOBRO (2025), The Riptides (2026), Lagwagon (2024), The Anti-Queens (2025), and most recently Japanese punk legends Otoboke Beaver (2026). They've also dabbled in covers, performing at "Pink Pony Punk", reciting a punk-ified Chapell Roan cover set to a sold out 27 Club (2025).

  

The group takes pride in creating from a wide array of influence, ranging from punk acts like The Chats, to heavy metal such as Mastadon, to the ambience of Ethel Cain. Writing as often as they can, they aim to continue to engage fans through releases and their high-intensity live shows. Keep an eye out, because they're not even close to finished.
